Cognitive Dissonance: Ever Felt Your Mind and Actions Disagree?

Have you ever wanted to set boundaries but found yourself saying yes anyway? Have you ever wanted to speak for yourself, yet stayed silent? Do you feel like you need mental rest or a break, but can’t seem to take one? Have you made a plan, only to notice you’re not following it? Even with the best intentions, do your actions sometimes feel out of step with your mind? This doesn’t mean something is wrong with you. The feelings I just described making a plan but not following it, wanting one thing but doing another are actually very common. In psychology, this is called C ognitive Dissonance . It’s simply the discomfort we feel when our beliefs and actions don’t align. Experiencing this doesn’t mean you’re failing. Often, it simply signals awareness, that something in your life might need gentle alignment. When our actions continuously clash with what our mind wants, it can affect our mood, patience, and even how we connect with others. But discomfort isn’t always something to fix. Some...

Before the "New Year" Begins...

As the year comes to a close… Not everything you carried this year was visible. Some days you showed up quietly. Some days you survived. Some days you grew without realizing it. For me, this year held both quiet endurance and meaningful milestones the formal registration of my LLC and the publication of my book " Start Living Your Life" . They didn’t come from perfect moments, but from persistence, healing, and choosing to keep going. Before we rush into a new year, let’s pause and acknowledge the effort it took to be here today. Reflection is not about judgement but about clarity, awareness, and grace. Reflection isn’t meant to weigh us down it’s meant to help us understand and move forward. "What is one thing this year taught you about yourself?" From the canvas within, Sadiya Nishath 💙  The Canvas of Your Mind Rewiring Minds. Rebuilding Hearts. Painted with Healing.

"Becoming in Your Own Time"

🌿 Dear Soul in the Hustle, While the world moves fast celebrating loud wins and rushing toward what’s next  You may feel like you’re stuck in a pause. Like your growth is invisible. Like everyone else has found their purpose… except you. But let me whisper this softly into the silence you carry: Your timeline is not broken. Your stillness is not failure. Your healing is happening even when it’s not loud or clear. “Don’t compare your Chapter 1 to someone else’s Chapter 11.” What if your soul is simply asking you to slow down just long enough To become the version of you that doesn’t rush to please  But rises to truly live? Some people take longer to start. Some bloom early, some blossom slowly. Not everyone grows deep roots and yet, those roots… They may not get applause, But they hold up forests. So, if your pace feels different, If your dreams are still unfolding, If your journey doesn’t look like theirs  You are not behind. You’re becoming. ...

A war in mind!

🌸 Dear Soul in the Hustle, As a mental health professional, I witness a quiet war fought in so many minds... A battle to reclaim light lost to doubt, fear, and pain. We all lose parts of ourselves along the way, But losing isn’t the end, it’s the spark of transformation. "Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning." Winston Churchill Love shifts shapes sometimes it fades, Only to return stronger, wiser, and more real. From the ashes of what we thought we were, We rise as storytellers of our own truth, Writers of courage, dreamers of change. This is more than survival, It’s a revolution of the soul. To those still learning how to rebuild After losing pieces of themselves, You are not broken. You carry light in your heart, truth in your voice, and peace in your soul. A quiet power destined to heal and inspire. From the canvas within, Sadiya Nishath 💙 The Canvas of Your Mind Rewiring Minds. Rebuilding Hearts. ...

“The Power of Narrative: How Telling Your Story Heals the Mind and Heart”

🌸 Dear Soul in the Hustle, We all carry stories some bright and full of joy, others heavy with pain. But have you ever noticed how telling your story can start to lighten that weight? Narrative therapy, a powerful approach gaining attention this year, reminds us that our stories are not fixed. We hold the pen to rewrite them, reshape meaning, and reclaim control over our lives. This week, let’s explore how sharing your story whether through writing, speaking, or even in quiet reflection can heal, empower, and transform: ☕ 1. Stories give voice to the invisible When we tell our truths, we bring hidden feelings into the light, reducing shame and isolation. 🪞 2. Reframing rewrites your reality You’re not just the sum of past wounds. Narrative therapy helps you discover resilience, hope, and new perspectives. 🧠 3. Healing happens in connection Sharing your story can build bridges with others reminding us we are not alone in our struggles or dreams. 📣 4. You become the author of your li...

Psychological techniques for good parenting style!

A shout out to all the parents for changing, implementing positive parenting methods.  "You guys are the future that once every child has cried for. Perfection is not required, trying to understand, improving, having consistency, appreciating everyday efforts, noticing the changes these are the required aspects which can lead to better end results." Earlier children used to be beaten up so easily, very frequently also, have been disrespected in front of others and many such things were done because people didn't give importance that even respect matters to children good behavior and treatment is important too. I know few people who got good parenting also few people who might have had a toxic relationship with parents or no relationship bond at all and the children who faced it and now being parents have really done a good job by changing or applying certain patterns with making sure that the children should be treated friendly by making sure they also be type of children...
